First Staff 2025
In October 2025 we took on our first staff member. Nikki had done work for Big Rig as a contractor for a number of years but we are now delighted to take her on in a part time role.
Coaching
opportunities 2025
At Big Rig we try and organise opportunities for our staff and we were delighted to work with RDJ Sport to get Nikki coaching in Ireland and Megan to London and Munich. They had a chance to learn from local, as well as professional international coaches.
Community Coach 2024
Layla Mitchell was taken on as a community coach working in local primary and secondary schools. Fresh from school she has grown in the role and continues to develop her trade.
Rwanda 2022
In 2022 our Director of Rugby, Stuart Corsar, returned to Rwanda with Nikki Simpson.

Rwanda 2019
In 2009 our Director of Rugby, Stuart Corsar, left with the Friends of Rwanda to deliver rugby sessions to local schools and orphanages. As well as this he coached the National mens team to prepare them for the Rugby World Cup qualification vs Ivory Coast
